Ah, Halloween. It is a time for people to dress up, steal people’s candy, and watch scary movies. With little time left until the sprites rise again, people scramble to prepare for Spooky Day with costumes.
When it comes to costumes, you could keep it classic by going as a vampire or witch, or maybe add a bit of flair by adding fake blood or accessories. But if you are going classic, don’t put on a sheet and say you are a ghost; it is lazy and shows that you don’t care.
Another thing you should stay away from is inflatables. While they can be funny to look at, they are hard to walk and see in, are heavy, and are a hassle to put on and carry.
For Halloween, you might choose something more recent, like a favorite movie, video game, or even music artist. Wear it to show off what interests you!
If you want something you can do with someone else, why not pick a theme? Themes are a great tool for both partner or single costumes but it helps a lot with partner costumes. Something scary? A small hoard of zombies. Something funny? Be one of your favorite fictional duos. Something more creative? Make up something just for fun, like a rockstar with a personal monkey butler, or a mummy teacher and their dinosaur vampire – it’s up to you!
But the two most important rules to choosing a costume are to select something you want and have fun!
