What is your fall fashion and how does it fit in the current trends? Many students in Cleveland High School have a wide range of styles. In this piece, we talked to and photographed students in order to get a look at the current fall fashion trends.
To start off, we talked to multiple sophomores including Reagan Meyer, who had some interesting views on fashion. Meyer said that black Converse were the most stylish shoes for the fall weather. If it were her, she would pair them with flare or bootcut blue jeans and an earthy-tone sweater. In the summer, Meyer loves to wear gold jewelry, but that changes in the fall where she will only wear silver because “silver looks better paired with the earthy tones of fall.” But the chilly weather never comes without a few overrated trends. In Meyer’s opinion, wearing Uggs when it is wet and rainy is “not a vibe” and should be canceled.
We also talked to Cleveland sophomore Ava Ridgway, who shared her favorite fall trends. Ridgway’s favorite fall shoes are Uggs, and she loves to pair them with jeans, her favorite style being low-rise baggy jeans.
Ridgway finds her favorite fall items at ‘edikted’ and ‘North Face,’ since they are both very good quality brands. The color schemes she likes to wear during the fall seasons are maroon, paired with brown, and cream. Ridgway always pairs her fall-toned outfits with gold jewelry, which she wears year round. She believes sweaters are “cute but overused,” and an underrated trend is cool, funky jackets.
After talking to multiple students at Cleveland, we gathered some information on what brands suit the chilly weather more. We asked either or questions on similar fashion choices in order to determine what the best option is. Converse got more votes than Adidas Sambas, while Uggs won over Birkenstock clogs. Overall, baggy jeans are more popular than flared jeans during the cold weather. When asked the question of what color jewelry is cuter to wear in the fall, silver jewelry came through with the win.
Now you will be in perfect shape to wear the best fall outfit, whether it consists of baggy jeans or sweats, Uggs or Converse. Everyone’s fall fashion is different and unique to them. The biggest thing to remember while picking an outfit is to prioritize what makes you feel good.
