As of Nov. 8, there’s basically nothing else to talk about but the election and those involved. So this one’s going out to Mike Pence in all of his awfulness. You get this whole article to yourself, Mikey.

If Mike Pence could be known for just one thing during his political career, it’s his stance on reproductive health. Pence began his crusade to destroy Planned Parenthood and similar institutions in 2007 when he began introducing legislation to block funding to family planning services that came through Title X. It is referred to as the Family Planning Program and was enacted in 1970 by President Nixon. It was created to allow low income families access to birth control and other means of family planning and keep children from being born into a bad situation. Many who have actually read Title X and understand it, know that it has never allowed any funds to be used for abortion services. Planned Parenthood receives no federal funding to be allocated towards abortion procedures. So either Pence can’t read or just doesn’t understand the difference between preliminary birth control methods and abortions.

I think it’s pretty safe to say that Mikey boy here really doesn’t understand science or um… common sense. In 2002, he was quoted saying that “condoms are a very, very poor protection against sexually transmitted diseases,” even though in reality condoms have a 98 percent effectiveness rate in protecting against pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Most recently, Pence tried his darndest to pass a bill in his home state of Indiana that would require cremation and burial services for all aborted or miscarried fetuses. Luckily, federal judge Tanya Walton Pratt was in her right mind when she blocked the law from taking effect.

So how have people been sticking it to the man? By donating to Planned Parenthood under Mike Pence’s name! For those wondering, Mike Pence’s work address is:

Office of Governor Mike Pence

State House

Room 206

Indianapolis, IN 46204-2797

Planned Parenthood allows anyone to make a donation in someone else’s name as a gift. Whoever’s name appears with the donation receives a notification and certificate of their gift. So let’s gift the heck out of Mike Pence! Planned Parenthood allows single donations as low as $5 so you don’t have to have a ton of money to rub your charity in Mike Pence’s face. Just remember if and when you choose to do this, check that box that says, “Yes, my gift is in honor or in memory of someone special.”
