The Warriors wrestling program is one of the most consistent athletic programs at Cleveland and there is no slowing down. The team has won 10 consecutive league titles and are looking to win their 11th in a row.

Junior Haley Vann is undefeated at 21-0 and is currently ranked No. 1 in the state for the 120-pound class. Senior Sean Lee (32-3) is currently ranked No. 6 in the state for the 113-pound class. Junior Logan Medford (20-2) is currently ranked No. 2 in the state for the 138-pound class. Junior Garrett Cappalonga is currently ranked No. 9 in the state for the 182-pound class.

Recently the Warriors had two champions at the Bill Geister tournament, Medford and Lee. Cappalonga placed second, Jacob Blosser placed fourth and Daneil Passmore placed sixth. Vann qualified for the state championships in fashion by a 57-second pin as she looks to defend her state title on Feb. 24 at Culver High School.

The District Championship will be held Feb. 18-19 at McDaniel High School.
