The Cleveland-Commerce High School Alumni Association gives five, $2500 scholarships to Cleveland seniors each year for higher education purposes. The students who received the scholarships this year were Jacklynn Yan (visual arts), Sophie Jacqmotte-Parks (science), Lucy Ferguson (performing arts), Felix Cohen (business and communications), and Zidane Indarta (Iron Man). These students were awarded $2,500 on April 27.

CCHSAA representative Karen Genzer represented the alumni association and awarded the students.

Students are awarded scholarships through an application process. Students apply for one of the five scholarship categories and counselors look over these applications and choose three students to interview. The competition awards talented students and gives recognition to their efforts.
