Zora Forsberg was named Cleveland’s Rose Festival Princess at an assembly after school on Thursday, March 14 in the auditorium.

Forsberg was crowned by last year’s winner, Emily Welch, while Safia Aweys was the runner-up in the annual tradition at the school.

Forsberg and Aweys presented their speeches last week on March 6 at an assembly in the auditorium, and students then were able to vote on the candidate of their choice. The student vote represents a portion of the overall vote, while the Rose Festival Court association makes up the rest of the vote.

Following their speeches last week, the candidates held their traditional Rose Festival Tea in the library with their family and friends.
