NFL: The NFL regular season is nearly done, and it has been quite a historic season. Trades came to an end on Nov. 4 at the trade deadline. The New York Jets were very active after their rough season, trading away Sauce Gardner to the Colts for two first-round picks and Quinnon Williams to the Cowboys. Jaguars kicker Cam Little hit a 68-yard field goal, setting the new NFL record. Matthew Stafford has been playing at an elite level at the age of 37, and is a huge contender for the MVP award as well as sophomore Patriots Quarterback Drake Maye and Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, who are all having historic seasons. Itās been a strange year for the NFL, with an unprecedented amount of parity and a lack of a clear Super Bowl favorite.

NBA: The NBA season started on Oct. 22, with young Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama already playing like one of the best players in the NBA, leading his Spurs to a hot start in the Western Conference. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has led his OKC Thunder team to the top of the West once again, even with co-star Jalen Williams yet to play a game as of writing this. The Mavericks fired controversial General Manager Nico Harrison since his infamous Luka Doncic trade from last year has caused them to begin the season as one of the worst teams in the league. The Mavericks do still have some hope for the future, though, with first overall pick Cooper Flagg starting to find his flow, adding to a stacked rookie class making an immediate impact with players like VJ Edgecomb, Kon Knueppl, and Cedric Coward playing remarkably well.
MLB: The 2026 MLB season ended with the Los Angeles Dodgers winning their second straight and ninth overall World Series in a game seven win on Nov.1. Will Smith hit a clutch 11th inning home run to beat the Toronto Blue Jays. Yoshinobu Yamamoto won the World Series MVP after pitching a nine inning, four hits, no walks and eight strikeouts in game two and saving the Dodgers in the bottom of the 11th in game seven. This is Ohtaniās fourth MVP win overall and Judgeās third. Teric Schubal and Paul Skenes each won the Cy Young Award for the American League and National League respectively, which is an annual award given to the best pitcher in Major League Baseball. Schubal won it last year as well so this makes it two straight for him while itās Skenesā first time receiving the award.
World Soccer: Arsenal is ahead in the Premier League standings, playing very well after a light start to their schedule. Sunderland just got promoted from the EFL Championship, and are already third in the Prem after having a surprise tie versus Arsenal. Liverpool has been a huge disappointment this season, with terrible form despite all of the star players theyāve signed. MLS Cup is in its finals, with the final two teams being Inter Miami led by Lionel Messi andĀ Vancouver. Ronaldo got his first international red card for Portugal in a 0-2 loss to Ireland during a friendly. The World Cup qualification stage is about to come to an end, with only six of 48 teams left to qualify. CuraƧao became the smallest nation to ever qualify, with a population of around 185,000.
