Cleveland’s girls’ varsity soccer team (8-1-1, 3-0) won 2-0 over Madison (6-2, 0-2) on Thursday, Oct. 3. This was their seventh straight win. The goals came from sophomore Avery Kyle and senior Ella Burke.

“We didn’t play our best,” junior Audrey Olenski said. “But it felt good to come away with the win.”

Head Coach Emily Ngan emphasized the importance of continuing the team’s momentum through the rest of league play. “We have to keep this going into next week as we play our final home league game and come out with a positive result,” she said.

The Warriors take on Grant on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
