Warriors Move to Sixth After Another League Loss

By Dominic Zupo, Sports Editor

The Warriors suffered their second home loss in a row Jan. 29, falling to the seventh-ranked Grant Generals 77-55.

The loss puts the Warriors in sixth place in the PIL with a 4-5 record. The Warriors’ 7-11 overall record does not give justice to the level they are playing. In this most recent contest with the Generals the Warriors’ offense was led by forward Jacob Bolger with 18 points and six assists, followed by wing Joey Rodrick who went for 12 points and six assists. Finally guard Johnny Carr scored eight points and had five assists.

The Warriors are now looking toward their next league game with the Madison Senators. This away game on Feb. 6 should prove beneficial for the The warriors. The struggling Senators sit at 1-9 in league and 3-13 out of league.
