CHS Alpine Skiers Compete at State

The Cleveland boys’ alpine ski team took 12th in the slalom race at the state championships, held at Mt. Hood Meadows on March 7-8. Jake Johnson, junior, was the highest finisher for the Warriors, placing 20th overall, according to the state meet results.

Also competing in the slalom were Alex Fesl (40th), Tucker Hoffman (46th), Ben Harding (57th) and Tristan Coffin (78th). In the giant slalom, Coffin finished 73rd, and Fesl finished 76th.

For the girls, senior Sarah Peabody finished 28th in the giant slalom and 65th in the slalom.
