Cleveland ran all over Parkrose High School in their matchup on Sept. 1, coming away with a 28-22 victory in the season opener. The Warriors’ run game was the biggest reason for the victory, racking up 220 yards against the Broncos. Max Copus accounted for 196 of those yards, as well as two touchdowns. Junior Payton Coe also scored a rushing touchdown for the Warriors in the victory, and the defense had two interceptions off Parkrose QB Kenji Johnson.
