The Cleveland Wind Ensemble placed fifth at the 2023 State Band Championships. They competed with the top 20 6A bands in the state being adjudicated by three judges in the performance hall and one judge in a sight reading room. Out of 360 possible points, Cleveland was five points behind fourth and eight points behind third.

To cap things off, Cleveland’s Wind Ensemble was also recognized for having the best combined GPA of all of the 6A bands in Oregon.
